It has been over two hundred years since the collapse of Potestas, a regional capital for the continent of Termidden. In that time, the island of Canis has experienced a tenuous relationship between its bestial and human races, which remains in a leery state of understanding as they work alongside each other. Phoenix, the last werewolf of his clan by means of a fateful event, is a warden to Canis' port city of Kuststad. Tasked with monitoring lawful disputes for its surrounding areas, he has found a place that welcomes him and his vulnerable temperament. Where the practicing of magics is seldom, and even less understood, a handful of mysterious deaths amid a series of vicious attacks of a shadowed creature sparks unrest around the city. As Phoenix and his fellow wardens work to unravel the complex scenario and determine whether the events are related, he may discover that these events tie to his past, and perhaps even his future.
