Ordinary Greatness — Jene Beal

Ordinary Greatness, a book by Jene Beal Sydney is a personal assistant in a law firm, has an active blog, and she is engaged to be married. A trip retracing the old Oregon trail gives her time away from her job and her fiancé. Case is a jeweler, working as an electrician with his brother Jaden. They are very close as friends and brothers. On the way to a job site, the brothers watch as Sydney's bus plunges into the river. Both brothers dive in to help. They cannot rescue everyone. Case pulls Sydney and Jaden unconscious from the river at the same time. He can only help one at a time. He starts with Sydney, and Jaden dies.
