It is 1953, and the Cobridge family is ever-growing. Paula and William have settled in their flat, and Nellie and James's daughter Bella is becoming a rebellious youngster. As her teacher, Paula believes she is suffering from dyslexia. She also thinks the child is somewhat neglected by her overly busy parents. William is engaged in his coronation ware at the ceramics factory and all seems to be moving onward - until disaster suddenly hits the family. How will Nellie survive alone?
