One Love
Out of the mists which enveloped Culloden came a tall figure in a kilt, and Deirdre caught her breath while the color drained slowly from her face.

It was only an illusion, however, which had rolled back the years and brought her face to face with a figure out of the past, because the man who approached was of her own age and generation. For a matter of seconds they faced each other and their eyes met, and without word or sign of greeting, Deirdre knew instinctively that he had come to Culloden in search of what she had just found there.
