All goes well until early July when one of the students, Serena Cryder, disappears into the past and refuses to return. Her alcoholic father, Pete, accuses the teachers of kidnapping, rape, and murder. A month after Serenas disappearance, when a mutilated, female body is found in the mountains, Petes accusations have credence. Is the corpse Serena or her sister who disappeared earlier? Will Old Miguel help the teachers? Who is guilty of the murder? And just how many residents of PichÃ³n have the ability to Time Walk?
