People don't think Gargoyles are real. But who do you think stacked the stones of the Pyramids and set up Stonehenge in the first place - puny humans with no capacity to control gravity? Get real Gary Graystone is the typical ugly large hunchbacked nerd of a high school student. Beneath his coat are his hidden wings, which upon deployment makes him weightless and everything that he touches. In school with him are two of his distant cousins Arianna and Josephine. They have yet to come into their baby fat. Note: Goyles (females of the species) put on their weight before making babies and lose it during their pregnancies. Usually the fat ugly Goyle ready for mating will need three little critters to get to a beautiful normal weight. The Gargs (males) are just always ugly with their huge beak adorned faces and widow-peaked hairline. They rarely date and never play sports. Gary, however, has the chance to do a little tutoring for one of the cheerleaders, Mary Sheridan. Mary is a buxom bouncy girl rapidly outgrowing her cheerleader uniform. Mary has no idea that hidden within her genetics is Gargoyle blood She is just putting on her baby fat, that's all. Why doesn't Mary know that she is part Gargoyle, because her parents definitely knew. Her dad was all human, but her mother had the claws, eyesight and weight that came with the partial Gargoylian physiology. She was flightless (no wings). Mary was without the telltale wings also; so she had no idea that she was what she was. When she was kicked off the cheerleader squad for being - well, too bouncy all over She turned to Gary as a friend. This was fine with him; but it was not fine with either Arianna and Josephine or their younger sister. Gary had been promised in an arrangement that when the time came for the girls to mate, he would do the honors if no other flight able Gargs were available to do the job. It was an arrangement that went back to the days of the Pharaohs themselves. The fun starts when Mary finds out what she really is
