Octagon House — Charles Bowen

Drew and Angela leave NY City jobs to renovate an eight-sided historic mansion constructed by a twisted Whig industrialist from the nineteenth century. The house's evil secrets are revealed when Angela sinks into addiction and Drew is driven toward suicide by the house's tortured demon. With supernatural help, Drew struggles to reclaim his wife and free the many ghosts enslaved in Octagon House.
