Null Sanction — Cyn Hadyn

Aurelian Helle had a lot of time to think after his exit from the C-130. He thought he would take over the pack after his Uncle Augustus got too long in the tooth to lead their pack. His prior service with a CIA Special Operations team, as well as his patrician blood line extending all the way back to the Jutes who invaded Britain, assured him the selection for pack alpha would end with himself as the new alpha.

He also thought he'd been serving an honest pack. Much to his present disgust, he'd discovered his uncle had purchased the C-130 to engage in gunrunning, white slavery, and drug trafficking, and he'd naively been the one to purchase it and get it legally licensed.

Aurelian also thought he'd be able to change his uncle's mind about engaging in illegal activities. Now, after the only argument he'd ever had with his only surviving relative, the sole thought he had left was, he was going to die. His uncle ordered the sanction on his own blood line, and the pack Enforcer had tossed him out of the C-130 without his wallet, his weapon, and, most importantly, without a parachute.

Waking up in Intensive Care gave him more time to think. But now his thoughts were centered on what was his name, where did he live, did he have a family, and could he convince Lochlann McGuinness to take a chance and hire someone without a verifiable past to serve on his very selective, top secret Interstice Team?
