The Bible records a story where Jesus expelled demons from a man into a herd of swine. It does not record the one that got away. This series does. The first novel "Storm" uses the 1900 hurricane to hit Galveston, Texas as the launching point for the telling of the two thousand years of history of the flight of this spirit through the lives of men until his ultimate resolution. Throughout the series the events of history (such as the 1947 explosion in Texas City) Texas take on a slightly different cause than the one recorded in the history books. Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction.
