Nightmare's Embrace is a fictional novel based on a real medical condition called REM-behavioral disorder. The author has researched several true cases and found that people cand do amazing things while suffering from the ailment such as jump from a second story window and return to bed without any knowledge of the incident. Although based in truth, the work is purely fictional.

This is a story of James Facton, a man with everything going for him except for a disturbing problem. He finds himself sleepwalking and acting out his dreams. They start out innocently enough with images of home and an ex-girlfriend, but with stress from a past mistake and a rigid future, his problem esculates. Eventually he finds himself surrounded by death and starts to wonder if he is responsible.
