My Trip to the Museum — Randy Ryan

Hunter is fascinated by dinosaurs, especially the Tyrannosaurus. One day, while visiting the museum with his father, he finds himself mystically transported back to the distant past. Not only this, but he has actually become his favorite dinosaur, and befriends an infant of the same species. Together, they explore the mysterious terrain, and Hunter is forced to protect the baby from larger, threatening predators. The tale concludes with the juvenile's mother returning to claim it, and the end of the age of the dinosaurs.
