[This novel] entertains with a story that balances the suspense of a mystery with the suspense of romance. Its tag as a paranormal mystery helps prepare a reader for Suzanne Westin's familiarity with crystals and scrying efforts. There is enough character development for Suzanne that that she is interesting for even a more skeptical reader who is curious about the outcome. Review by Kathy-Ann Becker, author of Silencing the Women: The Witch Trials of Mary Bliss Parsons. * * * * * Five Stars. Well-paced story that held interest throughout. The author, Cathy Corn, was adept at introducing the heroine of the story in such a human way that this reader became immediately sympathetic and interested in her life. The story moved quickly, was believable, imaginable and hard to put down. The writing was extremely competent and there were no distracting elements to impede the reader in following the building suspense to its rapid resolution. I will read more from this author and would recommend this author to other women who enjoy romantic suspense and a little Hawaiian vacation travel.Review by Robinrrc, Amazon reviewer: * * * * * Five Stars. Paranormal mystery with clues from the past. The main character in this book is a psychologist who uses past life regression to look for clues to solve a mystery in her present life. The story is set in Pittsburgh but moves to Kauai where pieces of the puzzle begin to come together. All is not as it appears on the surface and I didn't guess the ending till the final pages. This book is intriguing and hard to put down!
