The right-wing in the United States is furious. The President has defeated them soundly in the past election. They've tried character smears, birthing, tea parties, insults, racist comments, lies and Sarah Palin. Nothing has worked.
Desperate, the right-wing-nuts plan an assassination attempt at the festivities on the Fourth of July. The President will deliver an important speech on “the terror-industrial complex”. Treasonous generals set up meetings in North Carolina. Hard-line political leaders join forces with the fascists to kill the president.
Along the president's route near Fort Bragg, the plot is set. As the crowds watch the president's motorcade move slowly toward Fayetteville, demolition experts place IED's along the highway.
Only Deerington Village tennis pro Palmer Morel stands in their way. Using his contacts near Chapel Hill, Morel fights back. Will he get there in time? Or will he be stopped by the stealthy assassins stalking him on Highway 15/501?
