As she turned to head back to the hotel, she noticed a shimmering in the bushes. She realized it was a piece of jewelry catching the tropical sun. Knowing someone was bound to be looking for it later, she walked over to the bushes. Then stopped. She saw a bloody hand sticking out from under the bush...

...Crouching in the bushes, Anna pulled them apart and gasped in horror as she realized who was lying there on the beach. It would seem there was another victim on her hands and the stakes had just become a lot higher.

Tensions are running a little high for employees of the Grand Palatial Hotel. Just last week, a wedding turned murderously disastrous, and the residual effects are still lingering. Event planner, Anna Winters, is running interference with her staff the best she can while trying to remain professional. It hasn't been easy.

Millionaire Charles Weathersby wants a lavish wedding reception for his only daughter, Wendy, despite his dislike for the man she is marrying, Branko Lukic. Anna is determined to make the night as magical as possible, but she overhears Charles arguing with someone outside the hotel and, moments later, he's dead on the beach.

When Anna's boss calls, he's understandably upset because the elite hotel chain cannot afford a reputation for killing wedding guests. He gives Anna an absurd ultimatum: figure out who's responsible and clear Grand Palatial of all liability or hang up her catering crown. Unwilling to lose the position she's worked so hard for, she begins snooping for answers.

Now Anna has a grieving bride, a poisoned cocktail, the Serbian Mafia, a hotel full of wedding guests itching to leave and more than a handful of suspects. One thing's for certain. The millionaire definitely had his fair share of enemies. The trouble is the murderer is someone who was in attendance, and that includes the hotel staff. Just when Anna thinks she's zeroed in on a suspect, she realizes she's in the killer's crosshairs. Getting off the island alive isn't going to be quite so easy this time. Is it possible to get lucky a second time around?
