Murder for His Money — Guy Cobden

Sheer chance brings John Chadwick, Private Inquiry Agent, into the mystery surrounding the death of a call girl, Helen Jones. The police are certain that she has been a victim of the Noakes gang, but she had told Chadwick that she was being pressed for the address of her father, Ludwig Jones, who has disappeared. Chadwick investigates, and when he walks into a trap and unearths a body weeks old, another murder is added to the mystery.
