Murder for Her Birthday — Guy Cobden

Adam Todhunter, city property magnate, left a million in trust forhis children, but in spite of their money and their luxurious home, the family is not at peace. Janet, the beautiful younger daughter, claims that one of the family is trying to prove her mad, and even that somebody has attempted to murder her. John Chadwick is asked to investigate, and his arrival sparks off a series of hair-raising incidents throughout a storm-wracked night.
