Murder by Mistake — Alex Binney

A schizophrenic serial killer escapes from Broadmoor and a series of homicides ensues. Is it him? Police are thrown off scent by misleading notes left by the bodies, which is not the killer's usual M.O. Chief Inspector Henry Cusper, who is in charge of the investigation, despises Berne for personal reasons, relating to the solving of a case in the past, and the two men are at loggerheads. As the investigation gets to an advanced stage, which involves a trip to France, the solution to the murders seems to have been scuppered by a hijacking at Dover. From the pen of Alex Binney, this is a murderous tale with so many twists and turns, the ending is sure to leave you breathless.
