Murder at Channel Two
Jay Winslow returns to the town of Newcastle hoping to cause havoc in the lives of those who slighted him as a teenager. Cassandra Cross is not immune to his criticism when he reveals her identity as Matilda Crumb, writer of a beloved children's series. Jay befriends Marcie Andrews, the granddaughter of the influential physician, Russell McNealy. Marcie agrees to gather medical records from the hospital archives to provide Jay with information he can use in his show, Winslow Talks Truth. Jay's enemy list grows until the day his dead body is found slumped over the desk in his office at the Channel Two Television Station.
