Sargenta Carmen, now Tenienta, was quite right that the Guardia Civil are self-sufficient when it comes to crime in Varigo. When a half tonne of drugs stored in the cuartel allegedly goes missing, she is suspended from duty and not allowed to investigate. Gheorghe, Pepe, Raúl and Inspector Jefe José Blanco of the police in Granada do their best to help Carmen discover when the drugs disappeared, who has them and who benefited. Meanwhile, a civil war grave is uncovered near Pórrostujar.
