Lorelai Robins-Stone was the seventeen year old daughter of Grayson Robins and the granddaughter of Edgar Robins the genius behind Aquatic Frontiers a marine research and development company that expanded beyond the normal SCUBA swimming systems to actual underwater living suits. In his Mermaid suit a person could live under water indefinitely. Lori, as she was called, talked her father into testing out the very heavily armed survival suit. When playing with the friendly local dolphin pod they were attacked by a very large Tiger shark. Lori turned and fought the shark. She had weapons and her dolphin friends did not. Within the matter of seconds she turned the shark into just so much sushi A nearby tourist tour boat watching her and her dolphins at play filmed the entire attack. The recovered news footage clearly showed that the most dangerous thing in the ocean was no longer the shark, but the Mermaid as they called her Nobody but a very few people knew who was really within the survival suit. This is the story of her impact upon the Florida coastline and her desire to return time and time again to live with her pod in the sea. While, at the moment, this story is fiction scientific advancements are pushing this new lifestyle closer to becoming reality.
