Mary and the Monster — Krash
Originally written in 2003, Mary and the Monster is a fun twist to the old monster in the closet theme. As Mary drifts off to sleep, she hears a strange noise coming from here closet, and after much though, and some much louder sounds, she realizes that she really does have a Monster in the closet. The monster of course, is not expecting an excited fan, waiting as it opens the door. It is a quick read for children, and invites them to add to the story themselves, at the end.
