Man in the Window — Robert Perry

When a man, sickened by the Swine Flu, is sequestered in his bedroom, he has ample time to pass in staring out the window. One particular day, he sees in his yard below two boys staring up at him. He blinks, and they are gone. Were they present, or had the fever blinded his judgment? The man recognizes the two as the children from up the street, but he remembers also that family was involved in a car accident, and there were fatalities. Just who were the two boys staring up at the man in the window? Is the man merely going crazy with sickness and seeing things not present, or are his visitors, who always disappear at a glance, returning from the grave?
