What could go wrong when Agatha Harley and Hank Davidson decide to get away with a few of their closest friends? Unfortunately, his Independence Day mega-celebration ends with fireworks and his murder.

Agatha and Hank are on the case, but aren't out of the woods yet. Cynical cops and high society don't appreciate them snooping around. They'll have to rely on their survival skills to pull justice out of this wilderness. Hank spent his entire career as a cop, but he's not getting any help from the shady detectives who've hung their hats on Heather's arrest.

Once again, he and Agatha rely on their friends in Rusty Gun and the fabled, Texas Rangers. But, will they be enough to prove Heather's innocence, assuming she is innocent. After all, one thing Heather has never been accused of, and that's being innocent.
