When Elina and Bibble report to Guardian School at the Crystal Palace, Elina is surprised at how difficult the training is -- the classes are hard and she has trouble connecting with the other apprentices. But Elina can't afford to make any mistakes. If the ritual is not performed correctly, the land will be forced into a bitter ten-year winter.

While practicing spells, Elina is tricked into releasing Laverna from her toad form. Now Laverna will do anything to stop the Flight of Spring and take over Fairytopia. Are Elina and the other apprentices strong enough to stop Laverna or will Fairytopia suffer through ten years of winter?
