Miss Lucinda Williams has very rarely felt happiness. With an overbearing father dictating her every move, she finds herself longing for just a moment of freedom.When she meets Lord Wiltshire, a viscount and gentleman, Lucinda finds herself immediately drawn to him - but her father, instead, pushes her towards the arrogant Viscount Astley.
