Love's Pulse
Can Thatcher and Piper use their faith to overcome their differences and find a happily-ever-after?

Thatcher Carver has been training for marathons, because he likes running. Running from his failed relationships. Running from the ranch he doesn't want. Running from his dyslexia. He's stopped in Sweet Grove, where he's finally found a place of solitude with his two dogs and his job as a veterinary technician. The office administrator, Piper Dunn, has never liked him, and he's not sure why. But it doesn't matter. He runs from her too.

Piper's lived her whole life in Sweet Grove and spent the last fifteen years working her way from volunteer at Paw Pals to the office administrator. Thatcher doesn't know it, but he stole her job when he came waltzing into town and she's never told him nor forgiven him for it.

A chance encounter at a dog park sheds new light on the tall, talented Thatcher that Piper can't ignore. As they get to know each other better and start to dig into each other's past, Piper is the one who wants to run. This time from her growing admiration and attachment to Thatcher. From her aging parents. From herself.

But Thatcher feels the pulse between them too, and he decides he's tired of running. Can Thatcher and Piper use their faith to overcome their differences and find a happily-ever-after together?
