Lovely Summer Smoke Deluged — Edward Drobinski

Two fourteen year old lovers live in the same house, which is being renovated. They are two of six foster children. The tale is erotic and skips around in time. It also switches between reality and fantasy, the latter designated by capital lettering. Their books inspire jealousy and an insistence upon an inclusion they do not want. The family is visited by an avant garde film troupe, the leader an avant garde film maker; an old friend of their foster parents.
