This Contemporary Romance is set in Ireland. When two people, both passionate about their work, are attracted to each other love should run smoothly. However, in this instance, their love of their work creates a wall between them. At 35 years of age, Mark Whelan believes his life plan is working. With his business thriving he is moving forward with the next stage of his plan; extending his business. The surprise inheritance of an old farm complete with Georgian house in the south of Ireland pleases Mark as he believes this windfall will help develop his business. He visits the property intending to find an auctioneer and sell the farm. However, Mark discovers he has inherited a lot of trouble in the shapely form of Ann O'Connor who hopes the new owner will see the potential in the farm and continue to update and modernise it. When she discovers he has other ideas a battle begins. Ann sets out to change Marks mind. Mark is intent on proving to her that there is no other option but to sell the farm. His attempt to do so is hindered by the strong attraction he feels toward her. His decision to push aside his feelings for Ann and stick to his life plan is further complicated by the fact that everyone in this rural neighbourhood believes Mark will make the farm his home. With everyone wondering and debating about the future of the farm and their relationship, emotions tend to boil over causing Mark to wonder if he should simply run away or stay?
