Maria Angelides, a trainee marine biologist, plans to visit the Greek island of Zakynthos, hoping to see loggerhead turtles, monk seals - and perhaps even the Greek father she has never known... Professor Nikos Cristol, an important visitor to the Marine Centre, offers to fly her to the island in his company plane. Enjoying the hospitality of the Cristol family, she becomes attracted to Nikos.
