Lost Indian Gold — Robert G. Rogers

Lost Indian Gold began as a bed time story to my daughters who asked for a story of my adventures when I was a teen. I hadn't any, but told them the story of a young boy, Spud, who became lost in the swamps when his family was evicted from their farm. He soon teamed with two girls his age, Laura and Suzy, and two Indians, Cricket and Gold Eagle, to discover the lost Indian treasure ahead of two local bullies. But, before he did, he had to scrap for his life when a 'gator got after him and was forced to act like a “swamp creature” in a County Fair.
