Lizard Wells — Caleb Rand

After losing his whole family to the blood lust of an army patrol, Ben Brooke takes to the desolate Ozark snowline. But after years of bitter loneliness, he eventually returns to the town called Lizard Wells. In the meantime, the soldiers have degenerated into guerillas and have made the small town their centre of operations.
