In the world of Ayana, the lions protected the land and the innocent from evil. Great sadness loomed with the animals, but some built an underground resistance against the empire. The resistance finally challenged the tiger's empire, but after months of fighting the resistance failed. Lion Ascend was created from the Ascending Realms and brought by tbe Burning Bush. Iza, the Priest of Pride encourages Vera, the cheetah, to take Lion Ascend as her own. Vera reluctantly takes him and teaches him how to be kind, loving and merciful. Lion Ascend discovers after he grows up that he is the last lion. The Burning Bush and Dafidale tells him he has been chosesn to unite the animals of the world against the empire of the tigers. Unsure of who he is he feels the pressure and the true meaning of what it is to have a good heart. With the help of his friend he sets off on a journey to uncover his identity of the future.
