Lilly and the Snakes — Brenda Bellingham

The school board has closed Lilly's school for one afternoon a week. When Theresa's babysitter takes Theresa and Lilly to the mall, the girls end up playing with the snakes in a pet store. Lilly loves the snakes and wants the pet store owner to come to her school and teach the kids in her class about them, but her teacher says there is no time for such visits.
