Lighthouse Surprise — Karen Jones

When the Gaffire children's father needs rest and quiet after a heart attack, their mother sends the kids to stay with her parents at the Lighthouse Station in Washington State. Bobby, almost nine, is worried about leaving his father. His eleven-year-old sister, Christy, doesn't want to go because her grandparents won't allow her to bring her cell phone, which she can't live without.

The children's mother says, “When you hear about the big surprise your grandparents have awaiting you two kids for the summer, you'll know what real fun is!”

Bobby and Christy are soon involved in solving a mystery that leads them on a series of searches. Can they pull together and form a bond strong enough to solve the mystery and uncover the big surprise?
