Key Witness — Sandra Bolton

A loner from New Jersey and a lady Navajo cop form an unlikely alliance when the two join forces to track down a killer and solve the puzzle of a mysterious key. Abe Freeman has always felt alienated from his family and strict Jewish upbringing. When the young pianist's girlfriend dies, he loads a pickup truck with a few possessions, his stash of marijuana and his dog, Patch, and heads west. Shortly after arriving in New Mexico Abe is arrested by Navajo Tribal Officer, Emily Etcitty as a suspect in a murder case. Though innocent, he is haunted by a dark secret. But then, so is Emily.
