Kerri, her new husband Joey, and their children settle into a family routine at their central Texas home, contending with daily challenges that befall any blended family. This left her all alone in Seattle to face an unforeseeable future, and wondering if her Christmas wedding would take place as scheduled. Kerri must now make a momentous decision - should she give up her holiday with her new family to travel to Seattle in support of her sister? The story's characters, in dealing with untimely circumstances, are not uncommon to you and me. The differences are in how some people handle them. They either face situations with the Lord's guidance or throw in the towel and claim defeat.
