Kat the Time Explorer
Ten-year-old Kat Thompson is excited about spending a year with her aunt, Jessie Adams. Kat's excitement turns to amazement when she discovers what Jessie is working on in her basement physics lab. Her aunt has found a half-finished time machine -- along with notes about how to finish it.

With Kat's help, Jessie sets out to complete the device. But it's a lucky accident that enables Kat to start up the machine. The two are sent spinning back to London in 1851.

Kat and Jessie are thrilled to learn they've arrived at the time of the Great Exhibition. They can't wait to begin exploring the first world's fair.

All too soon, however, the adventure becomes a wild search. For Kat and Jessie discover that their traveling bag -- with the time machine -- is missing. Without it, they are stuck forever in the past!
