Joe, the gorilla, lives in the kitchen of the Happy Card Shop. Mabel, the morning assistant had hidden him there after he had faded after standing in the window for too long. One day Mabel failed to come to work and Joe's life would never be the same again.

Christmas is approaching and the shop is very busy. when Joe's life falls apart the day Mabel fails to turn up for work.
