Just an Ordinary Guy — Linda Hope Lee

When interior decorator Laura Baxter agrees to redecorate Virginia MacLendon's sunroom, she doesn't appreciate having to cope with Virginia's son, Mac, as part of the bargain. Mac may be drop-dead handsome and the town's most eligible bachelor, but he also appears to be the kind of wealthy workaholic man Laura avoids. Laura hopes to find just an ordinary guy, who will have the time to give to a relationship and, ultimately, to a marriage commitment.

However, Mac isn't about to let Laura alone. A conversation he overhears between his mother and a friend leads him to believe Virginia has enlisted Laura to break up his association with actress Camilla Reddaway. Never mind that Mac isn't serious about Camilla anyway; he's tired of his mother interfering with his personal life. He vows to teach both Virginia and Laura a lesson they won't forget.

Trouble is, neither Laura nor Mac is prepared for what happens when true love strikes.
