This is the third short story belonging to the Terran Chronicles Universe. It follows Jie as fate leads him far out into space, and toward the very edge of the Milky Way. Jie is under pressure from the Chinese President's son, Wu, to steal the ship. Wu wishes to return to a time of empires and dynasties with Jie being his second in command. In a bold move, Jie steals the ship, fires nuclear missiles at the Terran, then vanishes into the cosmos. Jie's plan to establish a colony on another world under his leadership is not quite as straight forward as he expects it to be.
