Jasper And The Haunted House! is the third book in the Jasper series.  After helping a little old lady to cross the street, Officer Jasper is called to a crime scene.  Who or what is stealing items from Big Al's Department Store?  His initial investigation reveals a single clue, but then the investigation seemingly hits a deadend.  But then a group of terrified boys, who had been playing ball in the street, confront Officer Jasper with the hair on their heads standing straight up.
