I've Got the Back-to-School Blues — Gail Herman

Summer is almost over and second grade is about to begin. This is not good news for Annie. She is sure that second grade is going to be absolutely terrible! This is the first year Annie and her two best friends will be in different classes. And to make things worse, her friends have the best teacher in school, and Annie's stuck with the new teacher-Mrs. Toady! With a name like that, she'll probably be covered in warts and be totally mean! Annie does not want the school year to begin-but does she really have a choice?
