This is the 25th in the Pitkirtly Mysteries series of quirky mystery novels set in Scotland. It’s early autumn and Dave and Jemima are heading for Loch Rannoch, in Highland Perthshire, not to view the autumn colours but to meet a long-lost cousin of Jemima’s. It isn’t long before they begin to wish the cousin had stayed lost. But at least they and some of their friends from Pitkirtly have the chance to experience a change of scenery and the joys of life without a mobile signal or an internet connection for miles around.
