Iris' Resolve

Also available on Kindle Unlimited - This series can be read in any order

The Amish Bouquet is in trouble. Business has fallen off over the early summer, their busiest time of the year, and the sisters are worried. However, Iris Springer, the youngest, has a plan to save the shop, but she can't tell her sisters because she's sure they will thwart her plan.

Dressing as an Englischer, she attends the local library to learn about computers so that she can advertise their bakery online. However, she's found out by someone in the community, a person she's been trying to avoid. When he confronts her and offers to help, she's not sure what she should do.

Mark Albrecht is struggling with his life choices. Although he'd like to stay in Greenwood, Indiana, he's sure that his uncle will send him back to Lancaster when the summer's finished. After all, he won't be needed at the construction company after that. While he's sorting out his plans, his heart continues to ache with the lost love he left behind when he came to Greenwood. No longer the biggest flirt in the community, he's trying to find meaning in his life and the path that God wants him to follow.

One night, he sees Iris at the library wearing jeans and a sweater. He mistakes her intentions for something else. Thinking that she's on the verge of leaving the community, he intervenes, but the results of their conversation lead to something that neither of them suspected. The feelings they have for each other develop, but are suppressed for different reasons. Iris feels she would be betraying her older sister if she gives into her own heart's desires, and Mark can't allow himself to act on his feelings if he doesn't even know where his future will be.

Through a web of secrets, the two of them struggle to find God's will for their lives, but end up discovering that all they ever needed to do was trust the One who knows what they need...
