Intruder in the Wind — Jess Carr

An eagle swoops down and picks up an infant from his yard in eastern Kentucky. The mother is frantic as she watches the eagle fly off towards its nest. The neighbors, police, national guard, and state troopers all work to recover the child. Necco Tufferelli, a shell- shocked Vietnam vet, rescues the infant from the nest but will not give him back to the parents.
