Inky, Stinky and Pinky “The Three Little Nickels” is a series of short children stories focus on kindergarten through third grade students. The stories are short with a length of approximately ten pages. Each story depicts and adventure undertaken by the three little nickels. The stories are broken down into chapters that can be assimilated by children in a brief amount of time.

Each story is fun to read and contain underlying lessons in judgment that enable students to learn valuable lessons for life. Each book begins with the same two opening paragraphs.

Once upon a time there were three little nickels, Inky, Stinky and Pinky. Now Inky and Pinky were bright shiny nickels with nice grooved edges. They had great traction and could start rolling really fast and could stop very quickly. They often bragged that they were the only two nickels in the world that could stop on a dime.

Stinky on the other hand was kind of a beat up nickel. His edges were worn and rounded and he would slip a lot when he tried to take off in a rush. He couldn't stop very well either and he would often crash into things. He was also bent a little bit and he kind of wobbled when he rolled down the street.

These familiar paragraphs serve as a friendly opening to each new adventure. Each book has been illustrated with pictures depicting relevant scenes or objects that serve to forward the story line. Each story ends on a positive note with lessons learned as the Three Little Nickels move on through life and happy times.

I hope that this brief synopsis is sufficient for your needs. I will be happy to e-mail a sample story should you if this concept is of interest.

Bio:

I have written professionally for many years as Chief of my City's Fire Department. Most of my writing has been technical in nature, contracts, grants, protocols, presentations and the like. Recently retired, I now have the time and luxury of writing for fun and creativity. I just completed my first novel and have now started on this series of children's stories. These are bedtime stories I once told to my now thirty-four year old daughter who teaches first grade. They are enduring and have stood the test of time.

I hope you enjoy reading about The Three Little Nickels as much as I have enjoyed writing about them.

Very truly yours,
