Devine Intervention Introduction To Book Two -In The Realm 'THE MESSENGER' Devine Intervention chronicles Mathew Wells, a Messenger From God; and his band of disciples, as they launch a new religion; they believe will save the planet from greed and terrorism. Bob Griffin and his felonious pal Kevin, are sent on a mission to recruit pre-chosen disciples from three continents, while the Messenger purchases buildings and transforms them into temples of worship. During this time, a dark nemesis peers from the shadows, intent on crushing the Messenger and the fledgling Sphere of Spin and Modulation. In this installment Matt swears vengeance for Sloan's death. He is certain, Sloan's illness resulted from a form of mental sabotage; orchestrated by a caped antagonist named Kremmel. A nasty character, of tall statue and evil intent, who wages a never ending battle against what is true and bright. He makes a flash appearance at Sloan's Funeral, which leaves her friends shaken. The first Sphere opens in Northeast Philly to a curious assembly of seekers, and in no time is filled to capacity. After an interview with Diane Sawyer, the discipline goes viral, big time.
