Immaculate is a story of a young woman, Alessandra, who after having one innocent encounter with a vampire awakens a dormant genetic trait that turns her into a vampire. For the duration of the novel, Alessandra struggles to hold on to her human life and relationships, while attempting to understand and accept the being she's become and the growing responsibilities that come with it. She soon finds out; however, that balance is unattainable, especially when one is an immaculate.
