Lenny Baker, homeless, finds himself in deep trouble with the law. Five brutal murders have been committed. He is desperate and wants to put the city behind him. Lenny takes the name of a friend, Ronnie Lee Barnett, who has told him of his wealthy Uncle, and Lenny is soon on the road to find the Uncle and the money in the hills of Kentucky. Death soon comes to these sleepy hills. First the Uncle disappears and then the Sheriff. Even though he has the money, Lenny cannot

rid his mind of the thought that his Mother died in an insane asylum, and then the authorities trying to have him committed. He gets himself in trouble with a young woman. Then an undercover Deputy US Marshall appears on the scene pursuing the killer? Can Lenny's mental capacity keep him physically in control, while he desperately tries to flee his past?
