"Love can surmount most problems" Jill was nursing in a London hospital and believed she had everything under control, with no complications either in her private or working life. When the new registrar arrived, Jill was convinced that the surgeon would mention tactlessly what had happened when they had met before. Fear became her constant companion and when she discovered that she was beginning to respect him, her fears increased, but for a different reason. Love can surmount most problems, as Jill eventually realised when she undersdtood the true significance of the registrar's behaviour.
